It's not easy being a young mother and a reality star! Catelynn Lowell is just the latest Teen Mom star headed for rehab. Find out which other girls have sought treatment in RadarOnline.com's exclusive slideshow.
After suffering from post-partum depression following the birth of baby Novalee last year, Lowell announced that she checked into rehab yesterday afternoon. "I'm seeking help for my anxiety and depression at the moment," she told In Touch in a statement.
She is believed to be receiving treatment in an Arizona facility. "Arizona here I come," she posted on Instagram yesterday. "I can't wait to be back to my normal self…this is for me and my family."
On the last season of Teen Mom, the mother of two was often seen crying and fighting to get out of bed. "It's a daily struggle," she said.
Lowell has many friends to turn to in her MTV family. Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer, 23, checked into rehab last spring after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported she was battling a prescription pill problem.
The mother of three was caught on camera slurring her words and nodding off during multiple episodes.
Lowell's nemesis, Farrah Abraham, 24, checked into a Florida rehab facility after getting arrested on DUI charges in 2013. However, she was kicked out just 8-days in for being a "disruptive influence" on other patients.
Lowell's close pal Amber Portwood, 25, not only went to rehab for her admitted addiction to pills— she spent more than a year in jail! After completing a 17-month stint in prison, the reality star admitted she abused powerful narcotic Fentanyl during rehab, drug court and house arrest. She also said she was "high as a kite" while filming the first seasons of Teen Mom.
Jenelle Evans, 24, also battled a serious drug addiction. She admittedly abused heroin, and was sent to rehab in 2011, 2012 and 2013 before finally getting clean from the dangerous drug. She admitted to spending $400 a day on her habit in 2013.
Maci Bookout, 24, has never been to rehab— but fans accused her of drinking while knowingly pregnant with her third child earlier this year. "Every scene of Maci shows her drinking beer," one Twitter follower wrote.
Lowell's pal Kailyn Lowry, 24, never went to rehab, but she did seek treatment for anger issues following an on-camera physical fight with husband Javi Marroquin in 2013. "It happened once and I've apologized numerous times," she later told fans.
