A source close to the situation explained to RadarOnline.com how the 38-year-old grandmother got the raise: "Tamra's story lines are huge and she has a big following, so the producers decided to pay her more."

The source also said that Judge depends on her Real Housewives of Orange County Paycheck. "Tamra needs the money," said the source. "She isn't raking in the big bucks with her gym and she hasn't really branded herself as well as some of the other women on the show."
