Scheana Shay's Costar Claims Mike 'Probably Knew What He'd Done That Created This'

After Scheana Shay and Mike Shay announced their divorce on Dec. 1, their costars are finally coming forward to admit what's really been going on behind the scenes. Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute appeared on SiriusXM's Maria Menounos show to dish some dirt about the troubled pair.
She admitted Mike and Scheana's marriage meltdown is set to unfold in front of the cameras this season. "It wasn't going to, but she agreed to. Because it kind of just all started happening in the last few months… they've taped some stuff," Doute told Menounos during an episode that is set to air on Dec. 7.
"Obviously there are other things that will come out on this season that were reasons as to why" Doute said. "She definitely had some other reasons and things that have happened between the two of them."
The 33-year-old reality star went on to reveal that Scheana asked for the divorce, but the two later agreed on the split. "This isn't like a dirty situation like they're fighting about it," Doute said. "He probably knew what he'd done that created this."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Mike's pals are worried the reality star will suffer a drug relapse once he realizes he's not married anymore.
"I worry about his own safety," a source close to Mike to RadarOnline.com. "I know that when he married Scheana, he was like any other person in L.A…. had a couple of drinks here and there, but he was such a mellow guy. But then he gets into Vanderpump Rules, and once he got into that circle it was the total opposite."
His pal also added that while fame has a tendency to turn some stars to drugs and drinking because they're in the scene, "Shay did the opposite where he started partying because he didn't want the scene," added the insider.
"He chose partying to make himself feel better," the source said. "He didn't like the cameras." But for now, his friends maintain that he is still sober. "I've seen him several times and he looked fantastic," an insider said.
