‘RHOA’ Newbie Shamari DeVoe Fired, Demoted To Friend For Next Season

Bye, Shamari. The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Shamari DeVoe was fired after just one season as a full-time housewife on the hit reality show RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
After NeNe Leakes inked her new deal for $2.85 and Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille were guaranteed another turn holding a peach, Shamari was axed from her full-time gig.
“Shamari was shocked when she was told that she was fired, but unlike Kenya Moore she is allowed to be on another show and find work somewhere else if she wants,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
Her boozy antics made the drama for the show, including when she threw up on Eva’s shoe before the Bye, Wig party closet brawl that rocked the show.
Getting fired from RHOA could be bad news for the financially strapped Shamari and Ronnie DeVoe, who confirmed RadarOnline.com’s story that they owed the IRS $366,000 in back taxes as the show began airing.
“There’s some truth to everything in life. We’ve all had some tax challenges at some point, or doctored up some documents to be able to get some type of tax return,” Ronnie, a member of New Edition, said on the Dominick Nati Radio Show www.DomenickNati.com.
“S**t happens in life,” Ronnie said. “That was one year that was a really good year and money was used to be able to take care of some other things. Every year after that has been amazing and paid for and up to date. We own up to our flaws ultimately. We are not a perfect couple. We are not perfect people.”
Shamari chimed in, telling Domenick Natti: “We are human.”
