For the Real Housewives of Bravo, drug scandals are almost as common as weaves and plastic surgery! Click through for a look back at some of the craziest rumors, scandals, and outright lies that the housewives have spread from coast to coast.
RHOBH got nasty in 2017 when Lisa Rinna made the wild accusations that Dorit Kemsley uses cocaine! It all went down on the cast trip to Hong Kong, when Rinna dropped her drug bombshell and an angry Kemsley hit back, saying, “Are you suggesting I got up from the dinner table and went to use drugs?” Kemsley added sarcastically, “My house is a coke den? I've got two little babies, but they live in a coke den?” Rinna, not one to back down added, “I don't want to call somebody out for something, but I saw what I saw.”
Maybe Rinna was just getting even? Back in January 2017, an episode aired where the ladies were making smoothies, and Rinna made what could be construed as a joke about putting Xanax in her shake. To make her point, she even took out her bag of pills and pointed to one that appeared to be a Xanax! In the confessional, Kemsley chided Rinna for the pill faux pas by saying ‘it was all a bit shocking.’ She insisted, however, that she didn’t believe Rinna has a drug problem.
The New York crew is no exception when it comes to drug rumors. In September 2016, Sonja Morgan accused Dorinda Medley of being a big partier, blasting, “Everybody knows you do drugs! Everybody knows!” Medley flatly denied the allegation.
Never one to let a good plot line slip by her, Bethenny Frankel later outright claimed that the RHONY cast's drug use was "common knowledge" in a shocking Tweet. She told her followers that it "'snows' more in NY than any Hwives city," adding, "Sonja gets party rap which is a joke.’

The biggest and baddest story in the series, however, comes from none other than rehab vet Kim Richards. During a contentious appearance on a TV show, her son Chad accused his mother of "taking pills" and "smoking pot." Richards later in the show admitted to taking unprescribed pain killers.
Danielle Staub, one of the RHONJ originals, had her own sordid drug past even before reality TV fame. Her ex husband, Kevin Maher, claimed in a videotaped deposition that “throughout our entire relationship from the very first day I met Danielle Staub till the end, there was cocaine involved just about every day of our lives.” The two met in 1986 at what Kevin called a “cocaine party.” Staub insisted Maher's claims were all nasty lies.
The Real Housewives of Orange County had their own drug scandals, too! Kelly Dodd accused Tamra Judge of abusing steroids to get through her fitness competitions. Judge insisted, however, that her physique was all natural.
Sadly, the younger generations of the Housewives cast memebers are not exempt from drug accusations and even arrests! RHOC star Lauri Peterson’s son, Josh Waring, was arrested for the attempted murder of his wife. In the temporary restraining order related to the case, his wife claimed that daily conflict and drug and alcohol abuse as part of the reason she was seeking a TRO. In 2016, he was jailed for another attempted murder case that took place outside of his sober living house.
Reall Housewives of Miami franchise ended in 2013, but the drama continues. Alexia Echevarria’s son Peter Rosello was arrested in August 2013 after crashing into an unmarked police car. When cops searched the vehicle they found a backpack with marijuana in a jar and a pipe. Rosello admitted the bag was his, but prosecutors eventually dropped the case when he promised to do community service. We pay for juicy info! Do you have a story for RadarOnline.com?
