This Wednesday, June 12, the country music star was spotted out and about in New York City with husband Brendan McLoughlin. And while the two looked to be enjoying the day, fans were shocked by Lambert’s massive leg bruise!

Dressed appropriately for the hot summer weather, Lambert, 35, rocked ripped blue jean shorts that showed off her left leg injury — which she seemed completely unfazed by.

She wore colorful sneakers, a white tank, a baseball hat, and a small purse for the casual outing with her man. She also carried a bottle of water to stay hydrated under the blazing sun.

McLoughlin wore beige shorts, a blue T-shirt, and grey sneakers.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Lambert and McLoughlin are often photographed spending time together in the city. Shortly after they tied the knot in February, the “Little Red Wagon” singer bought them a huge luxury condo in the heart of Manhattan.

While McLoughlin has been supportive of his new wife’s singing career and has accompanied her to Hollywood events, he reportedly maintains his post as an NYPD official.

As a result of his newfound fame, he was taken off street patrol, and is now pushing papers in the station house. The NYPD said McLoughlin still has his gun and shield and that his move off the streets was not in any way a form of punishment, but instead to shield him from excessive fan attention that could interfere with his job.

The singer’s recently posted various photos of her hunky man, flaunting their relationship on social media months after dumping married boyfriend Evan Felker.
