Barely one week after Scheana Shay and Mike Shay announced their divorce , their costars are revealing some major clues as to what went wrong.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the Vanderpump Rules stars secretly separated on Nov. 8 after a blowout fight in their home. However, while Scheana cited "irreconcilable differences" during the divorce filing, the couple's costars have some other opinions.
Lisa Vanderpump was spotted at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere at the Sofitel Hotel on Dec. 2, where she was asked about her Vanderpump costars shocking decision.
"Well, you're going to see some of what went wrong on the end the season," she revealed to ET. "I'm very protective of Scheana, and with what went down last year — you know, what she talked about with Mike's addiction — I felt really quite incensed because I have a lot of sympathy for people with addiction."
"I was a little upset with the fact they entered into this marriage with Scheana being aware of what she was taking on," Lisa also told the publication. "Scheana's a great girl, she really is, and to see this fairytale come to an end, it was quite disheartening, really."
Lisa isn't the only Vanderpump costar to speak up about the couple's meltdown. A sneak peek of costar Kristen Doute's appearance on SiriusXM's Maria Menounos show surfaced on Dec. 2, which revealed her also dishing secrets about what really happened.
She admitted her pals' divorce will be exposed this season on the show, too. "It wasn't going to, but she agreed to. Because it kind of just all started happening in the last few months… they've taped some stuff," Doute said on the show, which is set to air Dec. 7.
"Obviously there are other things that will come out on this season that were reasons as to why," Doute added. "She definitely had some other reasons and things that have happened between the two of them." What do you think about Mike and Scheana's divorce meltdown being on the show?
