‘Friend’ To Stranger! Matthew Perry Looks Bloated In Bizarre Photos
Aug. 10 2017, Updated 3:36 p.m. ET
Struggling to stay sober, troubled Friends star Metthew Perry looked bizarre and borderline scary during a recent New York outing. As RadarOnline.com can report, the actor was allegedly on his way to the doctor’s office while photographers snapped pictures of the glum-looking 47-year-old on the streets of the Big Apple.
The actor looked bleary-eyed and glum as he walked to his doctor’s office on Wednesday. He was dressed in casual dark blue pants and a light blue top.
This is not the first time Perry has been spotted looking rough around the edges. RadarOnline.com previously confused him for a hobo during a recent outing in NYC.
Perry has been struggling with alcohol abuse for many years now. Sources even said – and he later confessed – that while he was filming for Friends, he often showed up hung-over and unable to perform.

“When I was in big trouble, it was so public because I was on a TV show that 30 million people were watching,” Perry told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015.
Wanting to recover from his alcoholism, the actor founded The Perry House, a luxe Malibu property, where men suffering from alcoholism and addiction found solace in a safe drug and alcohol-free environment. However, he sold it after a year, in 2016. Soon after, he was seen slurring his words and looking dazed in a strange appearance on Seth Meyer’s Late Night show.
His wacky behavior continued as he was spotted talking to himself while on a cigarette break in London after missing a Friends reunion.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Perry has been living in the city since he began preparing for his playwriting debut. The big-screen actor is trying his hand at off-Broadway directing with his newest dark comedy play The End of Longing. The play debuted in May 2017.
Hopefully, he can stay sober through the process.
