Oct. 15 2020, Updated 3:15 p.m. ET
After appearing in a West Palm Beach, Florida courtroom for a probation violation hearing on Thursday, May 23, Luann de Lesseps is returning to jail, RadarOnline.com has confirmed from court officials.
The troubled Real Housewives of New York star is facing fallout from her shocking Christmas Eve 2017 arrest that involved drunkenly assaulting a police officer.
Luann went to rehab and was ordered to refrain from alcohol as part of her 12-month probation period and plea deal stemming from the arrest.
But recently, according to a document from the Florida Department of Corrections, Luann received a warning from her probation officer that said she did not prove that she has been attending two alcoholism recovery meetings each week. She had also allegedly failed to submit to random sobriety tests.
Cabaret singer Lesseps allegedly admitted to her New York probation officer that she drank “two glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago.”
But Luann has been embroiled in scandal for years.
Before her drunken arrest, Luann had gone through two failed marriages, with the first ending with her husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps running off with another woman and the second, to Tom D'Agostino, lasting only seven months!
The cabaret singer has also been involved in questionable financial issues, as children Victoria and Joel filed a lawsuit against her, and she's admitted to trying to borrow money from Bethenny Frankel's late boyfriend.

Not A Merry Christmas Eve
Luann was taken into custody on December 24, 2017 after she trespassed in a hotel room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida with a man and refused to leave when authorities arrived. Instead she resisted arrest and resorted to violence by attacking one of the officers. According to the police report obtained by RadarOnline.com, when the cop on scene, Officer O’Leary, attempted to detain Luann, but she “slammed the door in his face, striking him the forehead.”
Violent Night
In addition to leaving an officer bloody, Luann allegedly told police, “I’m going to f***ing kill you” during her arrest. Cops also claimed she “tried kicking the door to the vehicle to keep it from closing” before being “physically placed in the seat” by the officers.
Shaping Up?
After her arrest, the housewife checked into alcohol rehab in late December 2017, saying she was "truly embarrassed" about her trouble with the law. Luann ultimately pleaded guilty to three charges: battery, trespassing and disorderly intoxication. As a part of the deal, Luann avoided jail time.
Rehab Thoughts
Luann later admitted about the sobriety struggle that led to her arrest and sent her to rehab, "I can't be like most normal people and have a glass or two of wine. I will drink the whole bottle and then go looking where can I get another bottle?" But the housewife checked out of her first rehab stint after just three weeks, RadarOnline.com learned.
Going Back
In July 2018, Luann skipped the RHONY reunion show to check herself back into rehab and authorized pal Bethenny Frankel to say, "This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided — with their support — that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process.”
Trying Again
After leaving her second rehab stint, Luann told Megyn Kelly TODAY, "I feel good. I feel great actually, but every day is a struggle. I take it day by day."
Money Battle
In July 2018, Luann's ex-husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps and their children, daughter Victoria and son Noel, filed a lawsuit against her over an $8 million house sale. According to court documents, they alleged she'd breached a stipulation of settlement in her divorce by not creating a trust "for the benefit of her two children." Luann said she "felt betrayed" by them.
Mending Fences?
In April 2019, Luann told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that the lawsuit filed against her by her ex-husband Alexandre and children Victoria and Noel over an $8 million house sale was dropped. "Everything’s great with my kids. I’m happy," she said.
Probation Battle
The Florida Department of Corrections has accused Luann of not taking her probation seriously. Court documents said that Luann was ordered not to drink during her 12-month probation period. However, "per her New York Probation Officer, she had an alcohol test conducted on 04/21/2019. She admitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago."
Breaking Rules?
According to court documents regarding her probation, once she allegedly been caught drinking again, Luann was told she could “immediately enroll in outpatient treatment” but she “declined due to her touring schedule.” The reality TV star allegedly also declined to be fitted for an alcohol ankle monitoring device because it was “too intrusive.”
The Countess
Luann's first husband was French-born aristocrat Count Alexandre de Lesseps. Their marriage lasted from 1993 to 2009 but ended when he fell for someone else!
Love Lost
The de Lesseps' marriage allegedly was over when he told her via email that he'd cheated on her with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva. Alexandre reportedly told Luann the bad news right after their 16th wedding anniversary. Luann has said she felt "ashamed" when news of his infidelity broke. "It's been like a death," she told People.
Short Marriage
Luann tried marriage again with second husband, businessman Tom D’Agostino. They wed in 2016 but split after just seven months!
Marriage Meltdown
During their relationship, D’Agostino was bashed for cheating on Luann and was caught various times canoodling with mystery woman and old girlfriends. According to Page Six, however, a source says while Tom admitted that he had cheated on her it was only because, he claims, she was unfaithful first.
Another Bad Romance?
Rumors flew that Luann was romantically involved with her agent Richard Super in 2018, but he dumped her. The TV star recently said she's dating again.
Loan Moan
Luann admitted on RHONY that she had attempted to borrow $6 million from Dennis Shields — Bethenny Frankel’s tragic ex-boyfriend, who died of a suspected overdose. Luann wanted the cash to buy a $6 million, 8,000 square feet “mega-mansion” in upstate New York. “I was fixed on it. I had to have it, I was manic,” she said. “Believe me, I called everybody I knew for $6 million."
