The self-confessed pedophile changed into a woman in the middle of the Halloween séance — and sent a group of ghost hunters fleeing in terror! “We actually found out who he was right before we had scheduled the investigation,” Lisa Kyle, co-founder of the Paranormal Research Investigative Society of Mississippi (PRISM), told RadarOnline.com. “But at that point we had invested so much time and money advertising the event we didn’t tell him we were aware of who he was. We were afraid of his reaction!”

After the event began, Karr aggressively took control from the PRISM ghost hunters, according to Kyle. The delusional nutcase began calling Ramsey’s spirit, claiming she was haunting his 102-year-old home — and his split personality allegedly emerged.

“When things started heating up, we realized he’d changed his persona into a woman! We were all shocked and feared for our lives,” said Kyle, a self-described clairvoyant. “This man is absolutely psychotic! He shouldn’t be out in society!”

Karr was a key suspect in the horrific murder of Ramsey, who was found beaten and strangled to death on Dec. 26, 1996, in her family’s Boulder, Colo., home.

In 2006, Karr was first arrested and then cleared as a suspect through what officials are now calling flawed DNA tests on Ramsey’s underwear and tights.

Karr later penned a hard-to-stomach diary describing his obsession with the golden-haired child and how he allegedly killed her.

Karr claimed to have started the sex change process in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2006. Court documents filed in Seattle, Wash., indicate he legally changed his name to “Alexis Valoran Reich.”

He moved to Aberdeen — about 30 miles south of Tupelo — in 2017, but its roughly 5,500 residents were completely unaware Alexis Reich is actually Karr.

An employee at Aberdeen City Hall said an excited Reich requested a permit for the “ghost hunting thing” because he thought everyone in town would attend and police might be needed for traffic control. “He was telling us about all his exploits and all the countries he’s been to,” the employee told RadarOnline.com. “I was thinking: This guy is weird!”
