Uh-oh! Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez came close to sharing their romantic date night dinner with her ex-lover, Casper Smart! Lopez and Rodriguez were enjoying dinner at Craig's in West Hollywood, Calif., on Monday, August 27, as Smart dined solo at a neighboring table at the same restaurant. So did the former flames run into each other? Check out this RadarOnline.com gallery for more!
A-Rod and Lopez were dressed casually for their evening out.
Lopez, 49, sported a dark blue and white track suit while her 43-year-old former baseball star lover chilled out in a baby blue sweater, khakis and sneakers for the dinner date.
Smart, 31, also kept it casual, wearing a simple white t-shirt coupled with jeans and a jean jacket.
But former lovers Lopez and Smart never crossed paths, as witnesses say Lopez and ARod dined with her manager, Benny Medina, while Smart stuck to his own table and guests.
Smart, a former backup dancer for the “Dinero” singer, had an on-and-off relationship with Lopez from 2011-2016.
The relationship seemed to sour for good after Smart was caught cheating on the former American Idol judge with transsexual women.
But a separate source told RadarOnline.com that Lopez had essentially been wrapping things up with Smart prior to the scandal, removing him from his creative director position in her organization.
“He was basically demoted to her cabana boy,” the source said.
As for her current boy toy, Lopez gushed over Rodriguez earlier this month, as she accepted the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
"Alex, you're like my twin soul. We're like mirror images of each other," Lopez beamed as A-Rod looked on. "Every day the sky is not the limit, the universe is infinite, and so is what we can accomplish together with love and trust and understanding."
