Farrah Reveals Jenelle’s Troubled Husband Was ‘On His Best Behavior’ During NYC Trip

Jenelle Evans has been trying to move on from her Teen Mom 2 firing after her troubled husband David Eason shot and killed the family dog nugget in April. The shooting also resulted in Child Protective Services temporarily removing their children from their care.
Jenelle, 27, launched her eyebrow kit with a party during New York Fashion Week on Monday, September 9.
Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham and her daughter Sophia, 10, were also in attendance for the bash. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com’s podcast Teen Mom Time, Abraham revealed how the two attempted to restore their image during the launch.
“David was on his best behavior,” Farrah, 28, said. “It was nice, cordial… It allowed us to have fun at her beauty event.”
She added of Jenelle and David’s tumultuous marriage, “I do see they are coming together. It’s not like they were arguing. As human beings, their body language was very supportive towards one another and I am happy to see that. I support that. Relationships aren’t easy.”
Although she was glad to see the two are working on their relationship, she insisted she does not support David’s killing of the family dog for harmlessly nipping their 2-year-old daughter.
“I understand that might be a sensitive situation, I’m not about animal abandonment or abuse or anything like that,” she said. “I don’t agree with that, but this is an event and I wasn’t going to go there. I’m sure she’s affected by that.”
Farrah also noted “dogs were at the event.”

Looking Good!
Farrah attended the event with her daughter Sophia. “We were so happy we got to check out Jenelle’s eyebrow kit,” she said. “She put together a great event.”
Company After Controversy
The event and eyebrow kit launch comes after months of scandal for Jenelle and David. As RadarOnline.com broke, authorities responded to the couple’s North Carolina home in April after David was accused of shooting and killing their family dog.
David's Confession
He admitted the scandal in an Instagram post, where he published a video of the pooch nipping their daughter. “I don't give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” he wrote. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s—t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
They're Done!
Jenelle was then fired from Teen Mom 2 in May. The firing came only months after David was let go from the MTV series for homophobic comments he made on social media.
CPS Drama
Child Protective Services then removed the couple’s children from their care. Ensley, Jenelle’s son Kaiser, 5, with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith and David’s daughter Maryssa, 11, from a previous marriage were removed from their home in May. Jenelle’s son Jace, 9, was ordered to stay with his grandmother Barbara, who has full custody of him.
Kids Back Home
After a series of court hearings, the children were returned to the couple in July.
Better Than Ever?
Jenelle revealed in an interview with People that the two are stronger than ever. “I mean, especially because of the child protective services thing that happened. We had to be so strong during that,” she told the publication. “It was so hard to just hear accusations as a parent that aren’t true.”
911 Call
The two have had a rocky relationship in their marriage over the past year. In December 2018, Jenelle called authorities on her husband. "My husband is freaking out," a terrified sounding Jenelle told the operator. "He's outside freaking out. He's smashing our front door trying to get inside."
Scary Situation
Jenelle then told the operator that she's "in the attic." "My daughter is in the bedroom sleeping," she said of Ensley. "He said I locked him out and took his phone. He was outside looking for his phone. He got upset over an article. You can hear him yelling. He's outside smashing stuff."
In Danger?
When the operator asked if David has a gun, Jenelle responded, "Yeah he does, he has a gun. He broke my front door, I don't how it looks. I'm in the attic."
More Drama
The call came two months after Jenelle called the police on David in October 2018 for domestic battery. "My husband he just assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground in the yard," she cried. "I think I heard my collarbone crack. I can't move my arm." She later denied abuse, calling it a drunken misunderstanding.
