Jazz Jennings has shared incredibly raw details about her life of being born a male and transitioning into a transgender female in front of the world. The I Am Jazz star, who has been living as a girl since she was in kindergarten, has grown up in front of viewers' eyes. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Jennings' television show has come with much unwanted controversy for the young star. Former TLC star Derick Dillard attacked Jennings for being trans in August 2017 when she was just 16.
The outspoken teen decided to fight back, and she didn't go easy on Jill Duggar's husband. "Every day I experience cyber-bullying, but I keep sharing my story. Today was no different," she wrote.
Jennings' response, however, didn't seem to make Dillard quit. Months later, the controversial Duggar in-law said he pitied the reality star. Following the controversial statement, the TLC network announced it had cut ties with Derick.
The trans-activist shocked fans in 2017 when she decided to get a tattoo on her upper arm.
But an even bigger shocker was when the teenager decided it was time to experiment with her sexuality. At 17, a friend of Jennings' set her up on a date with a female friend!
"This is a good time to experiment with my sexuality," Jazz explained at the time, later adding of the new gal pal: "The more I get to know her, the more I am attracted to her."
At the same time, the reality star was working through deeper personal issues. She started putting herself down by commenting on her weight. "I really feel like a beached whale," she complained in season 4. "My eating habits are beyond my control."
Perhaps the most scandalous side of Jennings, however, came out in December 2017 when the reality star was caught doing the unthinkable: she was busted for possibly buying drugs!
RadarOnline.com exclusively obtained photos of the trans star purchasing what appeared to be an herb-like substance from a man in Coral Springs, Florida.
She seemingly responded to the photos by pinning a tweet from December 8 of a Bob Marley quote that read, "Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing is gonna be all right."
However, in recent months, Jennings has made huge strides and reached milestones she's always dreamed of. The I Am Jazz star announced she finally underwent gender reassignment surgery.
However, shocking footage from the show's current season showed the reality star returning to the hospital for another procedure due to a complication.
Of course, Jennings has also made progress in her love life. After experimenting with dating at age 17, Jennings has confirmed she has a new man in her life, a boyfriend named Amir.
