The Ray actor, 51, spent his weekend in Toronto where he made an appearance at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival, while Holmes, 40, ventured to the East Coast to enjoy the Elie Tahari Spring 2020 Runway Show in New York.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the former couple, who dated for six years, broke up just months after finally going public at the 2019 Met Gala.
At the time, Foxx's oldest daughter Corrine said they were "really good," "really great" and "really happy."
Months later, the 51 year old was spotted leaving Betsy Bellows with his protege Sela Vave, 21, triggering rumors of their romance and questions regarding his relationship with Holmes.
A Page Six source claimed after the photos of Foxx and Vave surfaced, they overheard Holmes talking about her breakup while at dinner in New York City.
“What Jamie does is his business – we haven’t been together for months,” Holmes allegedly said.
“They had an agreement to play fair and not embarrass the other by stepping out with anyone else in public – but Jamie’s done exactly that and she’s livid,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “They had an open arrangement provided he never rubbed her face in it, which of course he’s done over and over again.”
Foxx has since tried to convince Holmes and the rest of the world that he took the up and coming singer under his wing and their relationship is only about business.
