Chelsea’s Bad Boy Baby Daddy Adam RETURNS To ‘Teen Mom 2’ After 2 Years
Sept. 18 2019, Published 7:10 p.m. ET
Woah! More than two years after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Chelsea Houska’s bad boy baby daddy had quit Teen Mom 2, Adam Lind is back on the MTV show!
In a shocking sneak peek for next week’s episode, Adam hugs Aubree, his 10-year-old daughter with Chelsea, at a softball game.
Though Aubree looks thrilled to see her often absent dad, Chelsea, 28, is not amused.
“Oh my God, I’m uncomfortable,” she responds while holding daughter Layne, 1, her youngest child with husband Cole DeBoer.
Last season, Chelsea suggested her husband adopt Aubree, which would force Adam to give up parental rights.
At the time, Adam had just given up parental rights to his youngest daughter Paislee with ex-fiancée Taylor Halbur, allowing her husband to adopt her.
Chelsea explained that Cole would adopt her “right now.”
But her father Randy advised against it, as he explained, “I don’t think you should. She’s already got your name. Just go with the flow. Do what you’re doing. You can’t push it. If you force it she might resent you.”
When Chelsea asked Aubree off camera, she said how she doesn’t want Adam to give up his rights to her.
Aubree’s visits with Lind were modified to a visitation center after he failed a court-ordered drug test. A judge also approved the hyphenation of her name to Lind-Deboer.
Lind has been in and out of his daughter’s life over the past 10 years amid legal issues and drug issues.

Adam's Back!
In the trailer for next week’s episode, Aubree happily runs up to her father. This is the first time Adam, 30, has been filmed for Teen Mom 2 since 2017.
New Adam
Adam looks healthy in the clip. Although his face wasn’t blurred out, he kept a low profile in a baseball hat and sunglasses.
Legal Trouble
Adam has remained out of the spotlight after his legal troubles were resolved in 2018. Lind was arrested on May 28, 2018 for violation of a stalking protection order. The case was dismissed on October 9, 2018.
Justice Served?
For his violation of protection arrest order on December 5, 2017, he was sentenced to 210 days in jail with 207 days suspended and a credit for three days. He is also ordered to pay $200 in court fines and costs.
More Legal Hell
In regards to a separate case in Lincoln County, the charges domestic abuse simple assault attempt to cause bodily injury, domestic abuse simple assault recklessly causing bodily injury, domestic abuse simple assault attempt to put another in fear of bodily harm and domestic abuse simple assault intentionally cause bodily injury from his November 2, 2017 arrest were all dismissed.

However, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended sentence for the two counts of failure to appear in court after pleading guilty. He was also ordered to pay $159 in fines and $376 in court appointed attorney fees. Lind was ordered to refrain from committing similar offenses until August 30, 2019.
Restraining Order
Then, his ex-fiancée Stasia Huber, who appeared on Teen Mom 2, filed a restraining order against him on November 7, 2018. It was granted for five years.
Chilling Claims
In Stasia’s protection order filing, she accused him of abuse. “While under the influence of drugs, alcohol and steroids, he fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone and once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER," she wrote. "We broke up for a while after that."
He's Out!
But the legal drama wasn’t filmed for the series, as he quit in February 2017.
Enough Is Enough
“He’s sick of getting bashed all the time on a show,” a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. “He just wants to live his life and not be bad-mouthed all the time. He is living the normal quiet life. He’s working on a friend’s car lot doing mechanic work.”
Custody Loss
In January 2018, he lost custody of Aubree following the string of arrests. A court order was granted for their visits to be at a center instead of supervised by his mother Donna. Last season, Adam missed scheduled visits with his daughter.
New Rules
Lind and his mother are allowed to have lunch with Aubree at school every Tuesday.
