Chelsea Houska Asks Husband Cole To Adopt Daughter After Dad Adam Lind Ditches Visits

Chelsea Houska has been dealing with her absentee baby daddy Adam Lind for years – but has she finally had enough? In a Teen Mom 2 sneak peek, Houska suggested her husband Cole DeBoer adopt her daughter Aubree.

"Aubree hasn't seen him in a few months and I just got news about his other daughter Paislee," Houska, 27, said in the video.

She explained how Lind gave up parental rights to his youngest daughter Paislee with ex Taylor Halbur, allowing her husband to adopt her.

DeBoer, who shares Watson, 2, and Layne, now 6 months, with Houska, said of the news, "That's rock bottom. How could you watch them grow up and then be like f**k that?"

"The judge said you realize this is forever to him and he said yeah," Houska said.

Houska then revealed she is telling Aubree, 9, about the situation.

"She should know what's going on," she said. "You got to be careful the way you word it. It's going to be confusing to her. Technically that's not her sister. It's always going to be her sister, but you know what I'm saying."

She then suggested to her husband, "You could adopt her?"

He responded that he would "do it right now."

"She's older, I don't think it's as easy for us to make the decision for her," Houska said. "She's closer with his family than maybe Paislee was. It's totally different. I feel like the best would be if he was out of the picture instead of in and out hurting her."

Aubree's visits with Lind were modified to a visitation center after he failed a court-ordered drug test, was arrested for assault, which was dismissed, and had a restraining order filed against him by an ex-girlfriend.

On a previous episode, Lind missed his scheduled visit with Aubree and never paid the fee. She said in the clip that he hasn't seen their daughter in "months."

Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9/8c on MTV.
