Each new year brings with it new resolutions and plans to follow through over the next 12 months. And by mid-January, most of those new year's resolutions are thrown out quicker than a rotting Christmas tree.
At the start of 2018, RadarOnline.com presented a roundup of some celebrity resolutions and promises for the year. Now, with just a few weeks left, let's check back in and see who was able to keep their word, and who may want to think a bit different when coming up with resolutions for 2019.
At the end of 2017,RHONY star Luann de Lesseps revealed "I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018." The 53-year-old had just been arrested on charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person. She also threatened to kill ex-husbandTom D'Agostino.
Well, her plans for a "transformative and hopeful" 2018 quickly fell by the wayside. Following the arrest, de Lesseps had a major falling out with her two kids, Noel and Victoria. The children, along with de Lesseps' ex,Alexandre, sued her for violating her divorce agreement.
Luann now plans to end the year quietly – out of the spotlight. "I won't be going to Palm Beach, let's put it that way!" she jokingly told RadarOnline.com. "I'm laying low."
Real Housewives of Atlantastar Kim Zolciak-Biermann pledged to "learn to meditate in 2018" and take some relaxing time for herself.
But her explosive appearance on theRHoA season finale reunion ended in vicious fights with all the ladies — and even host Andy Cohen!
Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus tweeted, "Hopefully in 2018 I can rekindle my relationship with my father… I miss him." DeJesus and her father have been estranged for years, and he's never met his grandchildren.
While she has yet to publicly acknowledge finding her dad, she hasn't given up. As of August, her search continued.
Joe Jonas was looking forward to having "some great experiences" in 2018.
Finally, all rapper Ludacris wanted this year was a baby boy.
Sadly for the already-father-of-three-girls, no baby in 2018. Better luck next year!
