New Year’s Eve ushers in a period of “do-overs.” And New Year’s resolutions give us a chance to start fresh. Even celebrities are looking for some change in the new year. Check out RadarOnline.com's gallery to find out how some of Tinseltown's top stars plan to better themselves in 2018.
“I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018,” said RHONY star Luann de Lesseps after her drunken arrest in Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve. The 52-year-old was taken into custody on charges of battery, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person after reportedly slamming a door and kicking a police officer.
Ivanka Trump raised eyebrows when she declared on Twitter “New Year resolution, sleep more.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi has a real relatable goal: "I want to watch my sugar intake," she told Bravo. "I want to modify my sweets and my sugar!"
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann wants to chillax in the new year: “I'm going to learn to meditate in 2018!” she exclaimed on Instagram. “I'm so all over the damn place all the time I think it's crucial to take 30 min (excluding exercise) to yourself.”
All rapper Ludacris wants in the new year is — another kid! “My New Year’s resolution is to get a boy, believe it or not,” Ludacris, who already has three little girls, told PEOPLE. “We’re going to try one more time,” he shared. “So all next year I’m going to be trying to get a boy.”
Joe Jonas plans a resolution repeat. “Take more time off, go see the world, travel and have some great experiences, so that you can be inspired to get back to work.” One of those experiences could be a wedding for the recently engaged heartthrob.
Melissa Joan Hart wants more family time. “My New Year’s resolution is probably going to be to put down my phone more and pay attention to my boys,” she said.
Pamela Anderson has a resolution suggestion for Kim Kardashian. After gifting the reality star with a custom-designed faux “eco-fur” coat, Anderson — a big PETA pusher — wrote in a letter to the reality star: “As we all ponder New Year’s resolutions, won’t you consider making a meaningful one to stop wearing fur? You’d be setting a trendy, compassionate example.” No response yet from Kim.
Drew Lachey has little choice on his change: “My New Year’s resolution is to stop drinking Diet Coke, not because I want to, but because my wife’s making me,” he said.
Nicole Richie has a beauty resolution: “I’ve never had a laser in my life, so I’m open to that.”
Or you can always keep it simple, like actress Malin Ackerman: “I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions.”
