Singer Alanis Morissette looked unrecognizable, as she showed off her jagged little hairdo Tuesday, April 18. Check out the 90’s singer's new look in this RadarOnline.com gallery.
Morissette, 43, was in New York, attending a showing of the Tony Award winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.
The “Ironic” singer sported a shorter ‘do and giant granny glasses, complete with gold chain, to make sure she wouldn’t drop them.
Morissette is getting ready to make her own Broadway debut, with an adaptation of her 1995 hit album Jagged Little Pill.
The native Canadian worked with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody to create the story for the show, which will feature hit songs like “Ironic,” “Hand In My Pocket,” and “You Oughta Know.”
The world premiere of Jagged Little Pill the musical is May 5 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The show, according to the company producing it, “tells an original story inspired by the themes and emotions laid bare in Morissette’s Grammy Award-winning album.
“(The show follows) a family grappling with uncomfortable truths about many of the urgent issues deeply affecting our communities and our world today.”
Morissette was so excited about the show, she even wore specially designed “jagged little pill” earrings to a rehearsal earlier in the week. We pay for juicy info!
