Wendy Williams is trying to shut down talk her life is falling apart behind the scenes — despite her own show producers quietly plotting to replace the legendary talk show host.
Earlier this week, sources came forward claiming the 57-year-old is doing much worse than anyone knows.
The insiders claimed despite Wendy looking good recently and checking into a Miami wellness center — things are not going well for the entertainer.
A source told The Sun, "The spark is gone. That Wendy, who for ten years had that spark in her eyes, that cheeky grin and that little wink is not the same now."
The outlet spoke to sources connected to Wendy's talk show who claim to have witnessed the host at her lowest. The outlet claims Wendy can't dress herself without help from others, doesn't recognize her close friends and has trouble getting out of bed. "She’s not always functioning like she used to be. She has days where she needs help eating, getting out of bed and getting dressed."
The insider explained the reason why Wendy hasn't made a video for her fans explaining the situation. "She really can’t do a video. She’s been having a hard time holding a conversation," they claim.

Recently, sources told RadarOnline.com that Wendy's producers are working overtime to figure out the plan to continue the show without the star. The network is interested in both Leah Remini and Sherri Shepherd.
"The fill-in hosts were just supposed to keep the shows lights on until Wendy was well enough to return. It was assumed that without Wendy, the audience would not watch, but the has not been the case," our source said.
Now, Wendy is trying to claw her way back to her throne. Page Six quoted her Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman as refuting the claims his client won't be returning to her show.
"The health issues are inaccurate and any speculation about her not returning to the show is just that: speculation," he said in a statement.
As we previously reported, in the past couple of weeks Wendy has started to look like her old self. She was seen with her son Kevin Jr. sans wheelchair — the first time she's been without the transportation device in months.
