Wendy Williams' serious health issues are keeping her off the small screen for a couple more weeks.
Producers for her talk show announced the 57-year-old will not be returning to her show before November 22.
The show revealed Michael Rapaport will take over hosting duties next week followed by comedian Bill Bellamy and then Jerry Springer cohosting with Steve Wilkos.
Wendy has not been seen or heard from in weeks. The last time we saw her she was being pushed around in a wheelchair by an assistant while she vaped.
The decision to cast all-male hosts is interesting given Wendy was furious after producers announced the first guest host was Leah Remini. We're told Wendy felt "blindsided" by her team due to them not calling her for her opinion.
“No one asked Wendy for her approval before hiring Leah,” a friend told RadarOnline.com at the time.
Wendy might be a little worried about her spot as the ratings have increased drastically during her absence. According to The Wrap, viewership for The Wendy Williams Show is up 33% this week.
The talk show host has been going through it the past couple of months. She was scheduled to return to her show in late September but that was pushed to early October due to her "health issues."
Sources later leaked information about Wendy admitted herself into the hospital for a psych examination.
"Wendy continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team on a daily basis. She is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ Disease and her thyroid condition. It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties," read the last update from producers.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Wendy is currently without her son by her side as he's off in Florida partying with friends.
