No Drugs Were Found At Tawny Kitaen's Death Scene

Tawny Kitaen's family says no drugs were found at the death scene and they believe she died from a broken heart.
According to reports, Tawny's brother Jordan is speaking out days after his sister's tragic death at the age of 59. The actress was found in her Newport Beach home by a close associate.
Jordan says the family has talked to the police investigating the matter. He says they were informed no drugs, pills or alcohol were found at the scene. Law enforcement do not believe drugs were a factor or that she took her own life.
Jordan says Tawny was a mess after the death of her father on April 12. He fought a battle with skin cancer. Tawny’s brother said she was extremely emotional with the funeral set to take place a few days before her death.
He says Tawny was extremely close with her father and took his passing very hard.
Her brother spoke to Tawny the night before she was found dead. Jordan said she was in a good mood and excited for Mother’s Day. She died on Friday. A cause of death has yet to be determined.

As we first reported, Tawny was also facing jail time over a 2019 arrest at the time of her death. According to court documents obtained exclusively by Radar, the actress was set to appear in court later this month in the criminal case.
The model was arrested for driving under the influence on July 22, 2019. She was officially charged with a misdemeanor over the arrest on October 22, 2019. Tawny pleaded not guilty to the charges. The case had dragged on due to many delays but was starting to move forward after the pandemic.
The arrest was the latest in a string of issues for Tawny during her lifetime. Back in 2006, the model reached a plea deal in the case where officers found 15 grams of cocaine in her home.
In 2009, Tawny was arrested for driving under the influence while driving in Orange County, California. Law enforcement sources said she was believed to be under the influence of pills.
