Syesha Mercado has her newborn daughter Ast back with her days after CPS took her away.
Tyron Deener, the American Idol finalist’s partner, announced the news on Instagram. He posted a video of himself in the car with their baby girl next to him.
He captioned the post, “AST IS HOME!!!! #BringRaHome POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!” Tyron told the followers, “I’m going to make this a real quick live. Ast is home. Ast is home. We have Ast with us.”
He added, “We wanted to say thank you. We still got work to do to get Ra back. But we wanted to say thank you because of y’all … we had the proper support to get the best attorneys in the country to bring justice, Ast is back.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, back in February, Syesha had her son Amen'Ra taken from her after she took him to the hospital. She said he was having issues transitioning from breast milk to solid food. She said the staff accused her of refusing a B12 shot for her son and then CPS stepped in.
Syesha said her kid was “legally kidnapped” and pleaded for help. The physician who was involved in stripping Syesha of custody is named Sally Smith.
The doctor has previously been accused by parents of being too quick to determine a caregiver had abused a child. She denied the accusations.
Earlier this month, Syesha was pulled over by Florida police. They noticed she had a newborn baby with her. They decided to take the kid claiming she was responsible for telling the court about a new baby due to her pending CPS case.
Syesha posted a video of the emotional incident where she can be heard asking “How could you guys do this? Do you not feel anything?”
She pleaded. “My baby is days old and you’re taking my baby away from me. You’re taking my baby away from me. You have no heart. This is so wrong.” The couple has been able to raise over $400,000 via a GoFundMe.
The money was used to hire lawyers who clearly knew what they were doing. The battle to get their son continues on.
