Prince William 'Triggered' Over Possible Movie Plans About Disgraced Uncle Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's Downfall Amid Epstein Ties

Prince William's ongoing nightmare with his disgraced uncle, Andrew Windsor, has a taken a new turn, leaving him concerned and "triggered," RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Hollywood is looking to cash in on Windsor's arrest and drama involving the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, and Netflix is reportedly considering bringing back The Crown for present-day episodes about the royal family being plunged into crisis.

"There’s a real sense of 'here we go again, ' which has really triggered William, especially as it seems Netflix is the one leading the way to put this movie or TV series together," an insider claimed.

The Prince of Wales had to contend with more than just the streaming giant’s Emmy-winning series about his family, which wrapped up in 2023. The company also inked a $100 million deal with his estranged brother, Prince Harry, and “Diva Duchess” Meghan Markle, resulting in a 2022 six-part tell-all docuseries filled with endless grievances about their royal life.

"Everyone knows how much William despises … anyone who seeks to profit off his family’s lowest points," the insider dished.

"It happened with The Crown, and now comes yet another attack that’ll cause widespread embarrassment," the spy said about any new projects highlighting Windsor's woes and the shame he's brought to the monarchy.

The former Duke of York was arrested on February 19 under suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Emails released by the Department of Justice in their latest Epstein documents dump showed Windsor allegedly passed along confidential government reports to the sick pedophile while serving as the UK's trade envoy.

While his financial dealings are what got Windsor into legal trouble, he had his royal titles and honors stripped in October 2025 due to ongoing allegations that he sexually abused Epstein trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre when she was a minor.

The fact that Netflix has reportedly taken the lead in wanting to develop content about Andrew's demise has raised red flags with the royal family.

"It would come as no surprise to certain members of the Firm, William included, if Harry and Meghan weren’t privately driving this," the insider spilled. "The fact they’re in business partnership with enemies of the Crown just about says it all."

While Netflix Harry and Markle's big-bucks exclusive deal with the streamer in September 2025 after all of their projects not involving trashing the royal family failed to catch on with audiences, the duo still have a first-look deal with the platform.

Harry is reportedly looking to cash in with a 30th anniversary special about his mother Princess Diana's death.

He and William already participated in the 2017 documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, marking the 20th anniversary of her passing. It was meant to be the brothers' definitive final words publicly when discussing their mother in-depth.

The Prince of Wales shared memories he hadn't made public before and said it had taken him years to come to terms with her passing. As a 16-year-old at the time of Diana's death, he was very close to her and had much deeper recollections of time with his mom.

Harry is reportedly hoping to keep the money train rolling with Netflix by releasing the new documentary about Diana.
