Meghan Markle's Former 'Suits' Co-star Patrick J. Adams Claims Duchess Constantly Gave Him 'Eye Rolls' on Set of Legal Drama

Meghan Markle's former Suits co-star has opened up about what it was like working with the Duchess of Sussex, claiming he received constant "eye rolls," RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Patrick J. Adams, who played Markle's on-screen love interest in the legal drama, joked he has become more famous since she married into the royal family.
'I Got A lot of Eye Rolls'
Markle's 'eye rolls' were a common occurrence on set, according to Patrick J. Adams.
Indeed, his Instagram bio reads: "The other guy from that show that you're watching on that app because that girl married that prince," in reference to Markle.
Speaking to Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Adams, 44, quipped: "I've got to change that," before adding that it's the sort of comment Markle would have rolled her eyes at when they were on set.
"It's the sort of thing that, wherever Meghan is, if she's ever read that, she's going, 'Patrick, give me a break.' I got a lot of eye rolls, that was a constant with Meghan."
Adams admitted the Duchess has yet to send him one of her famous jams.
When asked whether the ex-actress had ever acknowledged his bio, Adams replied: "No, never, but I'm sure I got an eye roll."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Adams divulged that the former actress failed to send him "a jam or anything" when she launched her As Ever lifestyle brand in April last year.
The admission came after Hirsch said she was sent a package of Markle's jam and flower sprinkles, prompting Adams to quip: "I don't have enough followers, I don't think."
The actor previously confirmed he's had "very little" communication with Markle, 44, since her marriage to Prince Harry, 41.
'We're Not Really In Touch'
The ex-'Suits' star says he's lost touch with his former on-screen love interest.
The pair worked together on Suits from 2011 until 2017, playing love interests Mike Ross and Rachel Zane. Markle left the show at the end of the seventh series after her engagement to Harry.
"We are not really in touch. She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons," Adams said in a Reddit thread in 2024.
However, he added that he had received a "lovely text" from Markle after he launched a Suits rewatch podcast with co-star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulson in the drama.
"I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way. So lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart," he wrote.

Markle invited some of her former 'Suits' co-stars to her wedding to Prince Harry.
Adams, Rafferty, and several Suits stars were among attendees at Markle's wedding to Harry at Windsor Castle in 2018.
The prince confessed in his 2023 memoir Spare how he had never watched Suits, but "made the mistake" of watching a few scenes online while he and Markle were dating.
"I'd witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room," he wrote, adding that he "didn't need to see such things."
