A new photo of Matthew Perry has people believing he’s dating his assistant, only days after announcing he left his fiancé.
Earlier this month, the 51-year-old actor announced he ended his engagement to his longtime partner, Molly Hurwitz. Perry proposed to the 29-year-old back in November. They had been together since 2018.
After he popped the question, Perry said, "I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
Following their recent split, Perry told People, “Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best."
Perry's social media followers seem to believe the actor isn't too broken-hearted about not getting married. They believe he's already moved onto this assistant, Briana Brancato.
Perry posted a photo of himself with Brancato sitting on a couch wearing his merchandise. He captioned the post, "Ready for the long weekend and an even longer bath!" The two look extra close in the snap. Many followers left behind comments saying they were confident the two were an item.
According to Linkedin, Brancato has worked as Perry's executive assistant since September 2015. She lists her job description as, "Manage all aspects of Matthew Perry’s day to day schedule including the high-level coordination between the executive team and the studio’s. Strong experience in dealing with media, public exposure, security, and privacy along with the coordination of all travel. Responsible for all aspects of Matthew Perry’s estate management.
Prior to her time with Perry, she worked as a Risk Management Consultant for Aflac Insurance Group.
On her Instagram, Brancato regularly posts about her job and even rocked a sweatshirt with Perry's face on it for her 5-year work anniversary.
The possible new romance comes after Perry caused fans to be concerned for his health being after watching the Friends reunion on HBO Max.
Perry was joined by his former co-stars; Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.
The actor who played Chandler Bing on the hit NBC sitcom looked a bit different and had delayed speech. Sources claim the issues were caused by an emergency dental surgery. Perry has yet to publicly comment on the matter.
Sources told Radar, the entire cast has decided to rally around Perry to make sure he is on the right track.
