Lisa Bonet Was Over Jason Momoa's Jam-Packed Work Schedule, Wanted More Time With Actor Ahead Of Split

Jason Momoa's career skyrocketing and his inability to turn down a project was one of the factors that led Lisa Bonet to throw in the towel on her 17-year relationship.
Sources close to the couple are spilling all the details about what went wrong days after the Hollywood couple shocked the world with their divorce announcement.
Friends close to the duo claim Lisa had enough of Jason being gone filming Aquaman and his various other projects. The actor hasn't taken a real break in years and has been going full steam ahead since 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Last year, Jason spent several months out in Hawaii and London shooting the sequel to his superhero flick. Lisa was not seen on set and the two have not been seen together in months. The last public appearance they made was in early 2020. Lisa even skipped out on all of Jason's red carpet events for his 2020 blockbuster Dune.
A source told People the two, "were amazing for years, until they no longer were. They have grown apart because of different focuses."
The insider added, "A few years ago, Jason was struggling to find work. Now his career is booming. And he wants to keep working as much as he can." Lisa on the other hand prefers to stay home in Los Angeles and doesn't enjoy traveling to the various sets.
Last week, Jason and Lisa released a joint statement announcing they were "parting ways in marriage."
"We share this not because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty," they wrote. "The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become … "
