Lil Wayne's former security guard has changed his tune and now wants to press criminal charges over an alleged incident where the Young Money founder pointed a gun at his paid protection.
According to sources close to the situation, the security guard involved in the incident earlier this month with Wayne is now talking to the police.
The guard originally had declined to participate in the investigation but he seems to have lawyered up.
Wayne’s former employee has gone back to the cops to ask them to open a case against the rapper. In his original interview, the guard reportedly admitted there was an incident but said he didn’t want Wayne to get in any sort of trouble.
The guard claims he got into a heated argument with Wayne at his Hidden Hills mansion. Wayne had accused the man of taking photos of him without permission and leaking them. The argument turned violent with Wayne allegedly pulling out his AR-15 and pointing it at the man.
He claims Wayne proceeded to hit him in the head and face. The man left the property and rushed to call police.
Sources claim the case is not strong and cops have questions about the story presented to them by the guard. Wayne has yet to be charged with any crime.
All signs point to the man filing a civil lawsuit against Wayne in the near future.
Wayne isn't the only Cash Money/Young Money is trouble at the moment. His former mentor Birdman was recently slapped with a massive lawsuit accusing him of screwing over the owner of his Beverly Hills mansion rental.

“At present, Defendants are very delinquent — nearly 5 months delinquent in rent — and also owe Plaintiff other monies for cleaning services rendered at the Rental Property at Defendant’s request,” the suit reads.
Birdman has yet to respond to the claims in court.
