Lil Baby has been released from jail after being taken into custody for several hours by French police.
According to local reports, law enforcement revealed the 26-year-old rapper was let go after agreeing to pay the authorities a fine over the incident.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lil Baby and NBA star James Harden have been hanging out together for Paris Fashion Week. On Thursday, the two had been taking in the sights with a group of their friends.
During their day adventure, a car carrying Lil Baby and a couple of his friends was pulled over by police. The officers claimed they smelled marijuana coming out of the car.
As a result, Lil Baby and his friends were taken out of the vehicle and had their property searched. Officers reportedly found a vaping device that contained marijuana. Police claim to have found 20 grams of weed.
A spokesperson for the police department told the rapper Lil Baby was arrested along with one other person on a drug charge. Harden was not arrested during the incident.
In videos posted on social media, Lil Baby is seen visibly upset in the back of a cop car. He was photographed handcuffed while sitting in the back of the vehicle.
Harden reportedly tried to step in when the police started to question Lil Baby. He got into it enough that the police were annoyed and started to search the Brooklyn Nets star. The NBA star was not detained and nothing was found on his body.
Hours before the arrest, Lil Baby was seen smiling in front of his luxury hotel. He even came down to talk to fans who shouted out "Le Baby" as he stood for photos. The rapper was also seen front row at a fashion show without a care in the world.
Lil Baby has yet to comment on the matter.
