Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards’ daughter is erasing her presence online as her husband’s family is accused of fraud.
36-year-old Brooke Wiederhorn and her husband Thayer have deleted their Instagram accounts after the news broke of the legal trouble.
It would appear neither want anyone — including potentially the feds — snooping around their feeds
Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Times published a bombshell report about the family behind Fatburger being under investigation for alleged money laundering.
The report states Andrew Wiederhorn - chief executive of the family company that owns Fatburger — is being looked at by the Feds
In December, as part of the investigation, federal agents raised the home of Kim’s daughter Brooke — who is married to Andrew’s son Thayer. Brooke is not named in court documents.
The outlet states during the raid agents left with “phones, digital storage devices, tax documents and other records from the couple’s residence.”
The investigators reportedly asked a judge for permission to raid Andrew’s home but it’s unclear if they got the green light.
In an FBI affidavit — written in November — an agent accused Andrew of having devised and executed a “fraudulent scheme” that helped him avoid paying taxes while receiving “millions of dollars in sham loans” through his various businesses.

The documents list lavish expenses by the family including $183k at a London jeweler, $100k to a divorce attorney and $150k on a down payment for a Rolls-Royce. The problem being the money reportedly came from “accounts held by an affiliate of the publicly traded FAT Brands.”
Andrew is accused of routing company money through his son’s PayPayl account to generate millions of American Express rewards points.
No criminal charges have been filed.
A lawyer for Andrew denied the accusations that he committed fraud. “Mr. Wiederhorn categorically denies these allegations and at the appropriate time we will demonstrate that the government has its facts wrong,” he said.
“These loans were completely legitimate and were independently reviewed and approved. In addition, Mr. Wiederhorn’s tax returns were prepared and approved by independent tax professionals and he has been making payments under a plan approved by the IRS,” the lawyer added.
Kim has yet to comment on her daughter Brooke's home being raided by the feds. However, she recently did reveal Andy Cohen called her up asking if she would be interested in returning for another go on RHOBH.
