Radar Told You First: Kim Kardashian Set To Guest Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Kim Kardashian will make her debut on Saturday Night Life in October. The news comes just weeks after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported she was spotted having lunch with the show's creator, Lorne Michaels.
NBC made the announcement on Wednesday, revealing the reality star will be paired with musical guest Halsey.
The 40-year-old SKIMS founder seemed to be both excited and nervous about the gig on the network's long-running sketch show.
She tweeted the photo of sticky notes announcing her appearance date with the caption, "OMFG no turning back now!!!! LOL I'm hosting SNL!!!!!! @nbcsnl."
The TV personality is among four other guest hosts that NBC picked to come on the show. The other familiar faces include Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, and former SNL cast member Jason Sudeikis.
While Kim is set to host the Oct. 9 episode, the Wedding Crasher actor will open the 47th season with musical guest Kacey Musgraves on Oct. 2.
Rami will be paired with Young Thug on Oct. 16, and Brandi Carlile will appear with the Ted Lasso star on Oct. 23, wrapping up the last episode of the show in October.
SNL won its fifth Emmy in a row for the best variety sketch series over the weekend. The show's executive producer even teased on returning Sudeikis to Studio 8H during the award ceremony.
Kim will also be the first Kardashian sister to host the Emmy-winning show. Even though none of them ever performed on the SNL stage, their characters have been mocked and imitated by the show's cast members.
This news doesn't come as a surprise as RadarOnline.com first reported the potential gig for the mother of four when a witness spotted Kim and her momager Kris Jenner attending a private lunch with Michaels at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month.
"At the Polo Lounge again. Kris and Kim are here with security all around," a tipster wrote into the celeb-focused Deuxomi Instagram with a short video of the stars leaving the hotel. "Lorne Michaels is sitting with them !! Do you think they are talking about an appearance on SNL? Kim is very talkative. And Kris just looks like such an adoring mom. It's really cute. Both look great."

Recently, Kim has been under media scrutiny over her divorce from Kanye West, her neighbor's complaints about construction near her house compound, and a second sex tape threat by Ray J's former manager. It will be interesting to see if those subjects will come up during her highly-anticipated SNL monologue.
