Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be repping the same brand, but they won't be working together in the future. The 41-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star made her followers pause when she announced her latest campaign with Balenciaga, the same high-fashion label her estranged husband is working with on an upcoming Yeezy/Gap project.
But RadarOnline.com is told their paths won't cross. According to sources, Kim and Kanye's work with Balenciaga is "separate" and will stay that way.
Kim revealed on Tuesday that she was adding to her resume as the face of the Spanish label's latest campaign. Despite the reality star-turned-fashion mogul's love of the brand, her announcement came as a shock considering her estranged husband's connection with Balenciaga.
Not only is Kanye besties with Demna Gvasalia, the label's creative director, but he's also working with the brand. The rapper's Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga project was announced earlier this month.
While no products have been revealed, Ye and Balenciaga have already made the bold promise that items will be released in June.
Fans suspected something was up with Kanye and the luxury fashion house when his girlfriend Julia Fox was photographed wearing the brand from head to toe.
This was around the same time the pair's first PDA pics came out in Interview Magazine. As many will recall, Kanye and Fox's risqué photos weren't reciprocated well.
In the first-person piece, Fox opened up about her whirlwind relationship with Kanye. The two have been in the fast lane since meeting on New Year's Eve in Miami.
The Uncut Gems actress even talked about how Ye bought her a whole new wardrobe.
While the rapper and Fox have been inseparable, Kim and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, have too. As RadarOnline.com reported, Kanye isn't happy with his estranged wife's new relationship, mostly because he believes the Saturday Night Live comedian is undoing all the hard work he says he put into her fashion transformation.
