Jessica Simpson Moves on from Eric Johnson Divorce by dating a Roadie — 'She's Excited for the Future'
Jessica Simpson is dating again following his split from ex-husband Eric Johnson and she's said to be 'excited about the future.'

Jessica Simpson has moved on from ex-husband Eric Johnson with a fellow musician, according to new claims.
RadarOnline.com can reveal the singer, 45, is dating Thomas Eisenhood, who was previously a member of the now-defunct Stoop Kids band and now works as a roadie.
Who Is Singer's New Boyfriend?
Simpson met Eisenhood through mutual pals and they spend time together in Nashville.
Simpson, who announced in January 2025 that she had split from Johnson after a decade of marriage, met Eisenhood through mutual friends and have been together for around three months, but are taking things slow he’s yet to meet her children, Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and seven-year-old Birdie.
The couple spend time together when the Dukes of Hazzard star is visiting her second home in Nashville, and Simpson is "excited" about their romance.
A source told People: "She's happy. She's in a great place, excited for her future."
The new romance won’t irk her ex, as the pair remain on good terms according to insiders.
They added: "She and Eric are committed to being the best possible parents they could be, having a harmonious relationship and supporting their kids."
'They Have A Great Relationship'
Simpson and ex-husband Johnson split on good terms.
The former couple are said to still be living together while they try to "figure out the best path forward" and sell their family home in Hidden Hills, which has been on and off the market since they split.
A source said: "He's been living there, but they're working on selling the house.
"The goal has been to keep everything as stable and as friendly for the kids as possible.
"They still have a great relationship. They're still co-parenting. The main goal is the kids, but they're moving toward next steps."
Simpson recently admitted she never imagined being "single again as a mom of three."
Ready To Start Dating Again
The singer previously stated her intentions to date again followng divorce.
She told People: "I feel like we get caught up in numbers.
"Like, 'Oh, at 45, would I think that I would be single again as a mom of three?' Absolutely not. That was not how I planned it. But it's just a part of what destiny holds for me."
Simpson revealed in July that she was ready to start dating again.
The singer was asked by Today show co-host Jenna Bush-Hager: "Are you interested in dating? Can I set you up with anybody?"
Simpson replied: “I'd totally jump on that. Yes I'm single — very into like, very … I'm ready!”

Simpson wants somebody who 'exudes confidence without the ego.'
Bush-Hager subsequently questioned: "What are you into so I can set my criteria?"
And the singer then explained: "My type of person is one of a kind. I don't have a look, or anything.
"I just like for somebody to be individually, who they are. And exude confidence without the ego.
"It's hard to find but I feel like it's out there. I don't need somebody to be supportive of me all the time.
"I feel like the independence that I have right now, if I can have that and give it to someone else, that'd be cool."
