Jamie Lynn Spears Shades Britney Following Reports Singer Bought Actress' Florida Condo, Says She Prefers The Ritz-Carlton
Jamie Lynn Spears has just responded to reports claiming sister Britney Spears funded her Florida condo, which came about after the actress insisted that she's never taken a dime from the pop star.
Not only did the 30-year-old Zoey 101 alum shoot down the claims, but she also attempted to shade the 39-year-old singer.
"I don't own a condo, and I can assure you that no one has ever bought me a place at the beach," the mother of two captioned a series of photos showing her, her husband and their daughters enjoying a family getaway at the Destin penthouse that's in Britney's name.
The former Nickelodeon star explained her reasoning was "because I prefer my beach vacations's [sic] at the Ritz[-Carlton] anyway."
To recap: JLS does not own a condo and therefore uses the one paid for by her sister, who has been under a strict conservatorship and unable to control her own finances for 13 years. JLS also prefers her beach *vacations at the Ritz but doesn't spend them there.
"Simple FACTS. Y'all need to stop reachin'," the riled-up actress added. "Thankful to get this time with my family in between our busy work and practice schedules with the kids lol."
It's unclear whose work schedule Jamie Lynn is referring to, given that a petition to remove her from Netflix's Sweet Magnolias has garnered almost 23,000 signatures as of this article's publishing.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the posh Destin property – which Britney purchased in 2001 – is reportedly worth over $1 million. Jamie Lynn has long insinuated that it belongs to her/her family unit and has spoken publicly about vacations spent at the luxury abode.
"I host everyone at our condo," JLS said at the time. "We're pretty blessed with a big condo. It can sleep about ten people. We all have breakfast together, I plan a big dinner, and we have a space at the beach. And when we write, there's no pressure and no timeline, so the songs just kind of fall out. It's hard to call that work."
For not being the Ritz-Carlton, Jamie Lynn sure spends lots of time at that shabby Destin apartment!
Jamie Lynn has been on a self-defense spree since Britney testified in court that her family was involved with her allegedly abusive conservatorship under the girls' father, Jamie Spears.
Responding to critics who accused her of stealing money from her sister, JLS recently told her 2.2 million Instagram followers to "leave my broke ass alone."
In 2019, she made a similar remark to someone who said the actress sounded like a person who was about to lose her allowance.
"Haha nice try, but I have NEVER been paid a dime from my sister, that is HER hard earned money, and I am NOT entitled to a cent of it," Jamie Lynn fired back. "I would not spend money I did not earn."
