Ioan Gruffudd Files Restraining Order Against Estranged Wife Alice Evans Over Alleged Threat To Do 'What Amber Heard Did To Johnny Depp'

Ioan Gruffudd is accusing his estranged wife Alice Evans of threatening to do “what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp.”
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the Fantastic Four actor is asking the court to grant him a restraining order against his ex-wife Alice Evans as part of their nasty divorce.
He wants protection not only for him but his girlfriend Bianca Wallace. He wants Alice to stay away 100 yards and not be allowed to contact him.
Ioan filed for divorce from Alice in May 2021. The couple had been married for 13 years and met on the set of 101 Dalmatians.
Alice has yet to respond to the divorce but now Ioan wants the restraining order.
In a declaration, Ioan explains he told Alice in August 2020 that he was unhappy in their relationship. He claims Alice told him if he left her she would make false public accusations about him and sell stories to the press.
He claims she told him she would “destroy me and my career.
“Alice told me verbally multiple times that she would do to me what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp. Alice threatened to tell people I had abused her and our daughters; she threatened to call the police on me if I did not comply with her demands.”
He continued, “she threatened to tell people I am a drug addict and put me in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and she threatened to destroy my mother. Alice told me she would win, and everyone would believe her over me.
Ioan accuses Alice of making good on many of these threats. He claims she has made false and harassing posts about him on social media. The actor says she also sent him hundreds of harassing, abusive and threatening text and emails.
He claims she further lost it after hearing he has a new girlfriend. “Alice has made harassing, threatening and false social media posts about Bianca, and she has publicized private information about Bianca's medical condition.”
Ioan believes Alice is acting out in an attempt to intimidate him and force him to give her what she wants financially.
“It was extremely upsetting and stressful for me to continuously receive these types of hostile and aggressive text messages from Alice. On July 22, 2021, I blocked Alice's phone number on my phone,” he revealed. Ioan only talks to Alice via a court-controlled communication system.
Alice is scoffing at the request writing in her response, “I believe that Petitioner is filing this request merely as a ploy to gain some sort of advantage over me in our divorce proceedings. As Petitioner has not seen our children for over 8 months, I believe he is trying to set some type of record that I am a horrible mother.”
