Devastated by the news, Anatoly told The Sun he and his wife are still processing the incident.

"We still can't believe Halyna is dead, and her mother is going out of her mind with grief," he confessed. "But I don't hold Alec responsible - it is the responsibility of the props people who handle the guns."

He continued by expressing his concern over Hutchins' 9-year-old son Andros.

Hutchins' sister Svetlana Androsovych who currently resides in Indonesia, also called out the production for their "negligence" resulting in her sister's death.

"How was this negligence allowed by such a team of professionals? This is just such an absolutely absurd coincidence," she questioned. "I don't know where the investigation will lead, but there are so many guesses. Could this all be a set-up? What was it?"

She also added that "it's just so incredibly hard to live through it."

Svetlana also shared that she and her parents are working hard to organize trips to the U.S. so the family could join Hutchins' husband and son to support them during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
