Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant's on-again-off-again ex-husband Jamal decided to leave America for a lengthy trip to Israel where he is performing baptism services for others amid his own personal issues.
Jamal is a well-known pastor at a Georgia mega-church and is showing off his trip on social media. He showed himself wearing a red leather vest which an all-white ensemble in front of a "Welcome to Palestine" sign.
He said, "In Israel for the week praying, reflecting, planning, journaling." He revealed he plans to bring his church service to the location next year.
He later had a meeting with the mayor of Bethlehem who "bestowed" him with the "highest honor" during a ceremony, according to Jamal.
He also shared a photo of him praying at the Wailing wall. He told his followers, "I’m praying for you today at the wailing wall... tell me your last name for me to leave on the wall. Heaven is open and GOD is listening."
Jamal's trip to the 'holy land' comes weeks after his split from Gizelle. The two broke up earlier this month after trying to rekindle their romance. They were previously married from 2002 until 2009. In 2019, the two started dating again and were trying to make it work as a family.
After the split, Gizelle explained, "we were a victim of the pandemic. I don't think any long-distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely."
As RadarOnline.com first reported, his breakup isn't the only thing on Jamal's mind. He is also dealing with tax issues. Uncle Sam slapped Jamal with a federal lien on March 19. The IRS claims Bryant owes a ton of cash for 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018. The grand total owed is $738,524.25.
The breakdown is listed as $302,044.14 (2008), $99,427.57 (2010), $132,242.78 (2011), $78,778.20 (2012), $28,039.41 (2014), $49,148 (2016) and $336.55 (2018.)
The address listed on the lien links back to a home owned by Jamal's parents.
