The mega-mansion that Erika Jayne once shared with her estranged husband Thomas Girardi is set to hit the market after he was forced into involuntary bankruptcy.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the trustee presiding over Girardi's Chapter 7 received approval from the federal bankruptcy judge to hire a real estate agent from Compass. The ruling makes way for the $16 million pad to be put up for sale.

At the moment, Jayne's estranged husband is still living in the home. He is reportedly suffering from both Alzheimer's disease and dementia. His brother Robert was appointed as temporary conservator of his estate.

The trustee will sell the home to the highest bidder. After the sale is finalized, the judge ordered Girardi to vacate the home within 15 days. The property was featured on multiple seasons of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" as Jayne flaunted her Gotti-style mansion.

The 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom, 10,277 sq. ft. home is located in Pasadena. Last year, Jayne moved out of the home shortly after she filed for divorce following 21 years of marriage. Girardi responded to the case asking the court to terminate Jayne's right to any support. The case is still pending and the two are still legally married.

The reality star packed up her bags and moved to a $1.5 million rental. She decided to rent a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2,015 sq ft. home near  Hancock Park. The property listing touted, "Elegant living room w/large barrel ceiling & bright arched windows. Kitchen includes Viking Double Ovens, Sub Zero Fridge, Thermador gas stove & sunny breakfast nook.” A far cry from the luxurious life she lived with Girardi.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, prior to the divorce, Jayne was dragged into numerous legal actions involving her husband. Last year, the duo was sued for allegedly embezzling millions meant for his former clients. A lawsuit filed against the estranged couple said Girardi diverted settlement money, meant for orphans of plane crash victims, and used it to fund his lavish lifestyle with Jayne.

The RHOBH star has remained extra silent in the past couple of months. In the new teaser trailer released by Bravo, Jayne claims she was unaware of her husband's activities.

The legal drama doesn't stop for Jayne. Recently, the trustee presiding over Girardi's bankruptcy informed the court he plans to sue Jayne for the return of assets she refuses to voluntarily hand over.
