Ed Sheeran's Pal DJ Jamal Edwards Died Of 'Heart Attack' At Mom's Home, Hours After Performing Final Set
Ed Sheeran's buddy DJ Jamal Edwards reportedly passed away after suffering a "sudden heart attack" at the home he shares with his mother, British talk show host Brenda Edwards.
The musician's friends revealed the beloved DJ died on Sunday morning inside the residence he shared with his mother in Acton, West London. Edwards was only 31 years old.
Sadly, it was his mom who found him in his bedroom. According to Daily Mail, Brenda called the London Ambulance Service. Two paramedics responded but could not save him.
His unexpected death occurred just hours after he wrapped up his final performance at a local bar.
Edwards is a legend in the British music scene. He started the music platform SBTV and is credited with launching the careers of Sheeran and Jessie J.

On Monday, Jessie J broke her silence about his passing. Sharing several photos of Edwards, she said her "heart is broken" over the news.
"Your light. Your ideas. Your love for your Mum and your sister. Your work ethic. Your dedication to making a difference not just in this industry but in this world. Your laugh. Your laugh.
