Dr. Dre's 38-Year-Old Daughter Homeless & Living Out Of Her Car, Working As Food Delivery Driver Despite Reportedly Pleading With Music Mogul For Help
Dr. Dre’s daughter LaTanya Young says she is currently living out her car and fears she will be sleeping on the street very soon.
The 38-year-old spoke to Daily Mail about her dire situation.
LaTanya who has a strained relationship with the music mogul revealed she is working as a DoorDash delivery driver and sleeping in her vehicle at night.
She said, “I have friends and family that will let us come back and forth but the majority of the time I’m living out of my car.” Dr. Dre is worth an estimated $1 billion and recently was ordered to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $300,000 a month in support as part of their nasty divorce.
LaTanya says she has reached out to her dad for help but hasn’t seen a penny from him in 18 months. Dre has a total of eight kids. He had LaTanya with his ex Lisa Johnson.
She told the outlet she had called her father’s lawyer many times but can’t get a callback. She claims Dre has cut her off after she started speaking to the press about him.
LaTanya claimed Dre had been paying her an allowance and rent for a while. All that stopped in January 2020 when she claims he iced her out. In the bombshell interview, the single mother said she had her cell phone turned off because she can’t afford to pay the bill.

Her three kids are currently staying with friends and not living in the car with LaTanya. She told Daily Mail, “I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now, I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”
At the moment, Dre’s daughter is trying to save her car from being repossessed. She says she agreed to pay $2,300 to use the car for three weeks.
She admitted, “Sooner or later they are going to take the car.” LaTanya only moved to California a month ago after having trouble finding a job in Nevada.
Despite his refusal to talk, she says she won’t stop trying to contact Dre. She said, “My kids are old enough to know who he is. They are in shock he doesn’t want anything to do with them.”
Dre has yet to comment on the matter. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, he is currently dealing with his bitter breakup in court.
