Pop Princess Britney Spears just announced her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari on Sunday via her Instagram with the caption, "I can't f—ing believe it !!!!!!" The excited exclamation was punctuated with several rings and love emojis.
"The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication, and love expressed to them," Asghari's manager shared a statement to People before noting that N.Y.C. jeweler Roman Malayev designed the singer's engagement ring.
In the clip posted by the 39-year-old singer herself, fans can hear her screaming, "Yes!" when her fiance asks if she liked the ring.
Her fitness trainer man also shared the exciting news via his Instagram with a photo of Britney sticking up her ring finger to show off the diamond sparkler while the duo sealed the proposal with a kiss.
The couple has been in a relationship for over four years after they first met on the set of Britney's music video "Slumber Party" in 2016.
On Friday, Sam fueled the engagement rumors after posting and deleting diamond ring photos via his Instagram story. He later claimed that his account had been "hacked" and the ring picture was "photoshopped" before asking fans to "calm down."
The hacking incident also came just a little over a week since her then-boyfriend was photographed shopping at a jewelry store in Beverly Hills.
The duo was also notably in great spirits following the exciting news RadarOnline.com reported earlier this week that the singer's dad Jamie Lynn Spears had filed to end the conservatorship over her that's been going on for over a decade.
Jamie suggested that the Gimme More singer's "circumstances have changed to such an extent that grounds for establishment of a conservatorship may no longer exist."
He accepted that his daughter "wants to live her life as she chooses without constraints of a conservator or court proceeding" and requested for the conservatorship to be terminated without a medical evaluation.
Sam is going to be Britney's third husband. The pop star married her childhood pal Jason Alexander in 2004 for only 55 hours. Years later, she tied the knot to backup dancer Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. They share two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden.
