Bob Saget's Family Desperately Tried To Reach Comedian When He Failed To Answer Their Calls

Full House star Bob Saget's family went into a panic after the actor failed to answer their calls and they called the hotel security to check on him — who ended up finding him dead.
According to official records, an Orange County Sheriff's Deputy wrote Saget was found by a Ritz-Carlton Hotel security guard who went to the room at the request of the comedian's family.
They had reportedly tried to call Saget multiple times on Sunday morning but were not able to get ahold of him.
The guard knocked on the actor's door multiple times before allowing himself into the hotel room around 4 PM EST. He found the lights were turned off.

Saget was reportedly lying face-up on the bed with his left arm over his chest. His right arm was still laying onthe bed. The report notes that the comedian's body was ice cold and there were no signs of breathing when the guard checked.

The emergency personnel declared Saget dead at the scene. In the docs, the hotel also provided police with information on when Saget last entered his room. The hotel security was able to determine the actor had last entered his room around 2:17 AM EST. He was scheduled to check out the following day.
Saget had been staying at the hotel while he performed a series of comedy shows in Florida. He seemed to be in good spirits during a show in Jacksonville on Saturday. On Sunday morning, Saget even tweet out thanking the crowd from the night before. "I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I'm finding my new voice and loving every moment of it," he wrote.

The Medical Examiner also revealed there was no evidence of drugs or foul play at the scene. "The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete," the official said in a statement.
