Angelina Jolie Flaunts Cryptic New Tattoo Amid Brad Pitt Custody War, Days After Reuniting With Ex-Husband Jonny Lee Miller
Angelina Jolie showed off her new tattoo for the first time, and it's leaving many to wonder if the message is aimed at Brad Pitt.
The 46-year-old star has been on a whirlwind trip in New York City, which has even included frequenting another ex-husband's pad, for more than one week.
Despite a judge recently awarding Pitt joint custody of their six kids, Jolie looked unbothered as she brushed past photographers outside of her Manhattan hotel on Tuesday.
The Maleficent actress kept it casual, wearing a floor-length gray shirt and a plain white t-shirt.
Rocking the short-sleeved top, Jolie proudly debuted her new tattoo on her forearm while exiting the Carlyle hotel on the Upper East Side.
Photographers were quick to get the shot.
Jolie's cryptic tattoo reads, "eppur si muove" in Italian. It translates to "and yet it moves."
It's an interesting tattoo choice considering she's the massive blow she recently felt in her bitter custody battle with Pitt.

The private judge presiding over their custody case determined joint custody was best for their children, and Jolie is pissed.
She has been fighting for primary custody ever since their divorce in 2016, and she's pulling out all the stops this time around.
Jolie claims she has proof that Pitt allegedly committed domestic violence during their marriage, and she's ready to use it against him.
After the judge's decision, Jolie got the hell out of Dodge and headed to the East Coast for a vacation with her kids.
She has been spotted all over the city, doing normal things like eating a hotdog from Gray's Papaya with her sons, 17-year-old Pax and Knox, 12.
Jolie's even been caught frequenting her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller's apartment in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
But the actress isn't the only one who's gone to visit Jonny.
Pax went with his mom to see her ex on Tuesday, marking the second time Jolie's visited Jonny in a week.
