The 45-year-old former MLB star was photographed dining solo at Bar Pitti Restaurant in New York City over the weekend, just hours after Jennifer Lopez was spotted looking at schools near Ben Affleck's Los Angeles home.
A-Rod sat alone and soaked up his sorrows with Italian food on Saturday.
Wearing a navy blue polo, jeans, and colorful shoes, the ex-Yankee perched in his chair eating lunch outside and underneath a green umbrella.
J Lo ended her two-year engagement with A-Rod in April.
Weeks later, Affleck was caught leaving the 51-year-old singer's home. Fans immediately began wondering the relationship status of the former couple dubbed "Bennifer."
Their romance has only heated up.
Shortly after the 48-year-old Justice League actor's swift exit from her home, the two were seen in Montana together.
Following their romantic weekend away, J Lo and Affleck have been keeping their long distance relationship alive by jetting off to see each other at any chance they get.

On Friday -- hours before her ex-fiancé was spotted having lunch by himself -- the Love Don't Cost a Thing singer was caught visiting at least one school near Affleck's Southern California home.
Fans began to wonder whether this move signified that J Lo was ready to blend her family with Affleck's.
As it stands, her 13-year-old twins Max and Emme -- who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony -- attend school in Miami, which has been the Hustlers actress' main residency for years.
As for A-Rod, he reportedly hasn't given up on the woman who threw a wrench in his relationship with J Lo.
According to The Sun, the former baseball star attempted to contact Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy following his breakup with Jenny From The Block, but she allegedly didn't reciprocate.
A source told the outlet, LeCroy "ignored him" when he reached out.
"She's completely over it," the insider revealed.
