Ben Affleck's dad Thomas is spilling the tea on his son's rekindled romance with Jennifer Lopez. The only problem is, his famous son has reportedly kept the family in the dark.
Thomas, 77, told The Sun that Affleck did not tell the family he was dating his ex-fiancée again but scoffed at rumors his son had been "pinning" for J Lo for all these years.
“I’ve never heard of all that nonsense,” he fired back when asked about his son's reported long-time desire for the Love Don't Cost a Thing singer.
He told the outlet he was reluctant to comment on their relationship because Ben didn't tell him about it.
"Of course I’ve heard of her,” Thomas laughed but said he had "no idea about any of this."
Affleck's dad revealed he's not the one to pry into his children's private life.
“I talk to my kids about their lives when I see them and they share with me what they want to share," he told The Sun.
Thomas also admitted it's been a while since he's been able to get together with his family due to the pandemic.
“I haven’t seen my kids in so long, what with their work and Covid,” he added.
Affleck made headlines when he was caught sneaking out of J Lo's Los Angeles home, just weeks after she announced the end of her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
The two were spotted together shortly after that during a romantic getaway in Montana.
Since then, they've been keeping their long-distance relationship alive by jetting off to see each other every chance they get.
Affleck was photographed at J Lo's Miami home last month and the two looked pretty cozy.
After emerging from the mansion, he was spotted lighting up a cigarette as the singer practice yoga on her balcony.
Just days ago, they couldn't keep their hands off of each other at a fancy West Hollywood, CA hotel.
While the world can't stop talking about Bennifer's reunion, one person isn't interested. Affleck's ex-wife Jen Garner reportedly "doesn't want to be part of the circus."
