Kate Gosselin Slams Those Who ‘Destroy’ Her Kids After Ex Jon’s Scathing Tell-All

Kate Gosselin is standing up for her kids amid her ongoing drama with ex-husband Jon.
On Tuesday, October 1, the Kate Plus Date star shared an emotional post regarding her family.
“I love these kids fiercely.. and I don’t apologize for my tears. Times have been so tough and so needlessly unfair for them,” she captioned a photo of 18-year-old daughters Cara and Madelyn, both who recently left the nest to attend college.
“Despite it all, they’ve turned out to be such wonderful amazing human beings. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for each of them once they get away from those who have tried to destroy them versus protect them!” Kate, 44, continued.
RadarOnline.com readers know her comments come weeks after Jon, 42, slammed her as “abusive” in a scathing tell-all with DailyMail TV.
In the interview, the father of eight accused Kate of emotionally mistreating their kids, particularly son Collin and daughter Hannah.
He said that while Collin, 15, suffers from nothing other than ADHD, Kate saw him as an inconvenience to her lifestyle, and sent him off to live in a psychiatric center without telling Jon.
Collin then spent three years in the treatment facility, during which mom Kate only visited three times — less than two hours in total, according to Jon. The doting dad fought for custody of Collin after learning he had been locked up in the facility, and got him released in December 2018.

Jon called Kate’s treatment of their son completely “inhumane.”
“I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story,” he told DailyMail TV. “And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.”
Collin and Hannah now live with Jon, while Aaden, Alexis, Joel, and Leah still live with their mom. The four siblings have no contact with their father, as Jon says Kate has “poisoned” them against him.
Apart from shaming Kate’s parenting skills, Jon also slammed his ex for allegedly putting her celebrity image ahead of her children’s lives and forcing them to participate in her reality shows.
“They don’t want to film. They said they have to film. That’s heart breaking,” he said. “They have all said they have to film because they feel they need to provide a lifestyle for their mother.”
Kate didn’t publicly respond to Jon’s claims, but shortly after his tell-all was released, she shared a sweet photo of her having dinner at home with her kids, unfazed.
