Newly Engaged! Dennis Quaid Proposes To Younger Girlfriend Laura Savoie
Dennis Quaid and his younger girlfriend Laura Savoie are on the road to marriage.
A day after the couple was spotted enjoying their Hawaiian vacation, Us Weekly confirmed the 65-year-old actor proposed to his 26-year-old beau.
In July, RadarOnline.com reported the actor had after breaking up with his model ex Santa Auzina.
The news came as a shock to many as it confirmed a breakup many didn't even know had happened. Just a month before, he and Auzina were out and about walking hand-in-hand.
During his time with his former flame, he shared some of his favorite activities with the model.
“We love to go to dinner. I love to go to dinner at Catch, that’s our favorite restaurant. Love that place,” he said at the time. “Or just make a special night where we’re on the road. Go someplace and have her find a great restaurant that she really wants to go to. Or something like going to The Nutcracker with the kids. Whatever it is to get out.”
Readers know Quaid and Auzina's relationship began shortly after he filed for divorce from his ex-wife Kimberly.
Two years after she originally filed, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned Quaid responded to the impending divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" as a reason for ending their nearly 12-year marriage.
The couple, who was married from 2004-2018, share twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grave and have yet to come to an agreement regarding spousal support and the separation of their property, assets and debts.

The star was also previously married to actress P.J. Soles from 1978-1983. Before that, he'd tied the knot to Meg Ryan, with whom he was with from 1991 to 2001.
Despite three failed marriages, Quaid told Us in December 2018, that he would "never count anything out" when it comes to getting married again.
Now, he is preparing to walk down the aisle with Savoie.
Readers know Quaid's fiancee attends Austin's Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and has expressed her love for her man via social media.
Following the news of their romance in the summer, a post on her private Instagram page showed the new couple embracing each other, with the captioned, “Never been happier.”
