Not Guilty! Gina Kirschenheiter's Husband Denies Charges In Court In Domestic Violence Case

Not guilty!
Gina Kirschenheiter's ex husband pleaded not guilty to felony domestic battery and felony false imprisonment on Friday, Sept. 6 at an Orange County Superior Court, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
RadarOnline.com readers know Matt Kirschenheiter was arrested back in June and posted bail, but since the prosecutors did not file charges immediately, he has been out of jail.
When prosecutors finally filed the charges on Wednesday, Sept. 4, he was then ordered to appear in court two days later.
After the troubled reality star entered his not guilty plea on Friday, he immediately posted $50,000 bond.
At Friday's hearing, the judge also approved the a restraining order against Matt, who was dressed in a sharp dark suit and was mostly quiet during his short court appearance.
But the protective order only pertains to Gina and not the kids, his attorney, Edward Welbourn told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
The children are not involved since the warring couple had already agreed on custody and visitation last month during their divorce proceeding.
Matt will still have the unmonitored visits with the kids, which also was agreed upon in the divorce judgement, Welbourn said.
The judge ordered Matt not to harass, follow, or contact Gina and to stay 100 feet away from her. He also has to turn in any firearms he might have to law enforcement.
"Matt maintains his innocence," Welbourn said. "The divorce and the alleged incident is unfortunate, and there are unfortunately three children who also are going through this. In these cases, where there are no witnesses, it comes down to the credibility of the people. Matt has always been a family man, a hardworking man who has provided for his family. He's got fantastic credibility. We look forward to his day in court and he continues to maintain his innocence."

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, Matt was charged by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office with two felony charges relating to his explosive June arrest.
The shocking documents claim he “inflicted corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition” upon Gina during the June 22 incident.
If found guilty, Matt could spend 4 years and 8 months in state prison, Orange County D.A. spokeswoman Kimberly Edds told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Gina had filed for divorce in April 2018, but the marriage won’t officially be dissolved until Jan. 1, 2020.
They have agreed to peacefully coparent sons Nicholas, 7, and Luca, 4, and daughter Sienna, 5.
