Another Low Blow! Meghan Jets Off To Rome For Best Friend’s Wedding After Feud With Queen

Meghan Markle is finally getting her way. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Duchess of Sussex is taking a short trip to Rome to attend best friend Misha Nonoo’s wedding!

The actress-turned-royal, 38, jetted off to Italy with husband Prince Harry. Their couple’s getaway comes just days before the three are set to fly to South Africa for baby son Archie Harrison’s first Royal tour.

This weekend, designer Misha, 31, will marry American oil tycoon Michael "Mikey" Hess, according to reports. The beauty has been a good friend of Meghan for years, and is apparently the person who played matchmaker for her and Harry, 35.

“Misha helped introduce Harry to Meghan and the two women are the best of friends,” a source close to the royals told The Sun. "Meghan wasn't going to miss her wedding for the world.”

The insider added that while Meghan and Harry left 4-month-old Archie at home, they’ll be back to London on Saturday to pick him up and get ready for their Monday trip. 

Meghan and Harry’s spontaneous trip comes after a string of controversial moves on the Duchess’ part. RadarOnline.com readers know Meghan upset Queen Elizabeth by flying off to New York city earlier this month to root for bestie Serena Williams at the U.S. Open. By attending the athletic event in the Big Apple, she missed a huge royal tradition — the family’s Highland Games event — and the monarch was not happy.

After Williams’ defeat, Meghan returned to London, only to launch her new workwear line in collaboration with Smart Works. The new collection features a shirt designed by Misha.

At the designer’s Roman wedding, Meghan and Harry will be surrounded by Hollywood stars from Meghan’s past life as an actress. A-lister guests will include Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Joshua Kushner, Karlie Kloss, Katy Perry, and Orlando Bloom, among others.
