Comedian and Internet personality Landon Romano is ready to expand his growing empire by releasing his first original song. And RadarOnline.com has learned mega-producer will.i.am is helping out.
“will.i.am actually has been supporting me online for quite some time now. Always showing me love. And when I started rapping he was just like 'Hey let me produce your music,'” Romano told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “I was literally in shock because he’s so iconic and I’ve been a fan of his work since I was a child. So to think he wanted to work with me on a project is crazy."
Their collaboration is due out later this fall, but Romano, 24, is staying busy until then. He currently plays the Judge in The Shade Room’s new webisode “Petty Court” and co-stars in the movie Rent Due, which also features Machine Gun Kelly.
“Being in a movie was such a great experience and something I always really wanted to do,” Romano told RadarOnline.com. “I’m so grateful for all of my experiences, though. Honestly being in a movie was just as cool as having my first viral video. Any time you are recognized it’s cool, really. We all just want to be heard and appreciated at the end of the day.”
Romano had plenty of time to be heard when he attended the premiere of Jennifer Lopez’s new movie Hustlers. He even was invited to hang out with J.Lo, Cardi B. and the rest of the cast.
“I have a lot of support from celebrities which I am so grateful for,” Romano said. “I think my favorite person to follow on social media is Yung Miami from the city girls. Not only has shown me love but she is so funny to me, I just love her whole vibe.”
And as his own star power continues to grow, Romano is ready to embrace the spotlight, planning an epic launch of his new music.
“I definitely want to do some sort of release party. Stay tuned to my Instagram for details on specific dates.”
